Day 3 (continued): Lunch in Kuta, lost in Denpasar, and peace in Seminyak
For lunch, Paul had fried fish and rice while Florence opted for her favorite dish, mie goreng (fried noodles). Lunch came with a mystery blue bowl filled with water and lime, which Paul wanted to drink, but Florence persuaded him against that thought to avoid any stomach ache problems later in the day.

While eating lunch, rain began pouring down (hard). After a few hours of patiently waiting for the rain to let, we decided to brave the rain storm (like the locals) and continue the scooter ride, helmets and all (unlike the locals) to visit the congested city of Denpasar. While scootering around, we passed by large temples and massive, lush fields.

Before long, we started getting pretty hungry and quickly headed back to Seminyak, eagerly looking forward to our special dinner at Made's Warung. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly house cat and immediately seated at a specially reserved table which had a leaf with "Paul Woo" carefully written on it. We definitely thought it was a treat to be seated in a peaceful, serene coutyard after a long day of scootering in the rain.
