2003 - Lake Tahoe, Nevada

During the last weekend of March 2003, Paul and Florence decided to take a quick break from work to see if they could catch some last-minute snow across the border in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. After some quick research, Paul found a great weekend package at the Fantasy Inn, where Paul and Florence first met. After booking a few nights at the hotel a few days before they left, Paul and Florence were set to go.

On Friday, March 28th Paul picked Florence up from work and headed home to a nice, warm supper to wait while traffic died down. After a few hours, Paul and Florence made the long journey up to Lake Tahoe and checked-in at the Fantasy Inn.

Although there wasn't much snow to be found the next morning after they woke (it turned out to be a pretty sunny and warm weekend in Tahoe). Paul and Florence decided to make the most of it by finding an area along the highway to hike around and explore while bringing along a picnic (sandwich and drinks featured below next to Paul) while enjoying the wonderfully picturesque views Tahoe is so well known for.

Paul and Florence managed to find a private, secluded spot along the lake and spent the rest of their time enjoying each other's company while watching the sun finally set at the end of the day.
