Our Honeymoon - Kauai, Hawaii
30 June 2002 through 06 July 2002

We decided to tour the north and west coast of Kauai by signing up with Kauai Fun for a half day filled with lunch, snorkeling and a boating tour to boot. Kauai Fun is a small, family business run by Dave Baptiste and his father Denis Baptiste (pictured with us above). Denis told the most entertaining stories while Dave carefully maneuvered us along scenic routes and tiny, wonderous caves along the north and west coasts of Kauai.

It was during this trip that Florence realized she was prone to sea-sickness, but that braving the rocky waters was worth it, in the end for unbeatable views of the ocean and playful dolphins (below), one of which was a survival of a shark attack. You can still see the white area where the dolphin was bitten, if you look closely enough.
