Day Thirty - Growing (Taller and Rounder)

On Day 30, Rykan paid a visit to his pediatrician for his Week 5 check-up and was pleased to discover that he now measured 21 3/4 inches and weighed 8lbs, 11oz! Rykan gained an average of 1.7 oz per day from his last visit to the pediatrician 2 weeks ago, which is quite a bit considering most newborns gain an average of 0.5 oz to 1.0 oz per day.
